History

December 12, 1880   Meeting held with St. John's and St. Stephans to discuss 
  merging.
December 27, 1880   Congregation organized, choose name IMMANUEL.
March 22, 1881   Foundation layed for church.
October 16, 1881   Construction for church began.
December 1, 1881   Church finished and dedicated. Total cost $152.88.
December 25, 1882   Pastor Dicke’s salary - $50.00.
March 21, 1884   Land for cemetery purchased from Fr. Winter for $5.
November 21, 1887   Decided to build parsonage.
January 13, 1892   Decided to build a frame church with 5 windows.
December 27, 1899   Pastor to receive $350 salary starting in 1900.
1904   Purchased and installed church bells.
January 4, 1920   Congregation resolved to join the Missouri Synod.
Spring 1922   Church burned down.
May 22, 1922   Special meeting held to decided whether or not to rebuild.
  Members favored building the same year.
1924
  English services were held the 1st Sunday of each month 
  from May - Dec.

1924   First Ladies Aid meeting held.
1932   Two English services held per month.
1944   Equal English and German spoken for services.
1959   Electric cross put on top of church.
1962   Indoor bathrooms installed in the church.
1964
  Immanuel and Zion Lutheran in Zachow become sister
  congregations.

  Built an addition to front of church.

  Dissolved relationship with Zion-Zachow and became sister
  with congregation with St. Paul-Town of Washington

  Added on Handicap accessible bathrooms upstairs and    
  downstairs.

  Hosted Circuit 14 Reformation Celebration
