Baptism Information

It shall be the practice at Immanuel to baptize all infants who are presented for Baptism by their parents or legal guardians.  If the child/adult is at the age where instruction can be done, then instruction about Baptism and the Christian faith shall precede the Baptism.  It is not the policy of this church to deny Christian Baptism, except when the Pastor has reservations as to why it should not be done.

It is the church’s custom to have sponsors selected by the parents who are of the Christian faith and should also be Lutheran when possible.
